I am an absolute sucker when it comes to dessert. It’s non-negotiable for me most days. So having good quality options on hand allows for a less ‘all or nothing approach’. If you find yourself stuck in the cycle of ‘I’ve started this diet and therefore being good’ and before you know it, deep into a packet of tim tams riddled with guilt and searching for the next thing to ‘start on Monday’. I highly recommend starting to incorporate something small daily. This may feel uncomfortable at first. However, it reduces the brain’s intense desire for it when it is off limits. These are my favourite go-to dessert options at the moment.
